Breast augmentation was a long-standing concern for me. Since I was young, it had been a lifelong source of stress, and wherever I went, I always carried this subtle sense of insecurity. Every summer, having to wear padded bras felt so uncomfortable and miserable that it’s hard to fully put into words. And because of my job, there are times when I have to wear sleeveless tops or outfits that show my upper-body line—whenever that happened, my self-esteem noticeably dropped. Even when wearing swimsuits, I would layer multiple pads, and seeing myself like that made me feel empty and discouraged. So when the opportunity came, I decided not to delay it any longer.
Weshe Plastic Surgery Clinic had been my number-one choice since my early 20s. The reason was simple: the breast shapes in the reviews were so beautiful, and it felt like they consistently created exactly the type of result I wanted. I also trusted the fact that it’s a one-doctor system—it didn’t feel like a factory-style clinic. Honestly, I thought, “If the shape is pretty, that’s everything,” so I booked the surgery on the same day as my consultation and didn’t look into any other clinics.
To be honest, the early recovery after surgery at Weshe was very hard. It’s been about 00 days since my surgery, and at first it hurt so much that I wondered if something had gone wrong. My underarm scars also looked messy. In particular, the gap between my breasts looked wide, and I got really stressed thinking it looked like a “highway,” as people say. Because I’m a sensitive person, I tortured myself reading side-effect stories. When I searched, I saw many people saying it wouldn’t change because it was related to my original body frame, which made me feel even more discouraged. The weight also felt heavier than I expected—so much that I seriously considered removal and spent every day looking up similar cases. Thankfully, as time passed, it has become much more natural than before.
For aftercare, I think I did caps treatment about twice, and every time I visited the clinic, they also provided radiofrequency care. Seeing other clinics offer unlimited care or scar laser programs did make me feel a little disappointed.
As for the feel, at first it was like touching a rock or a bouncy ball, but now it’s closer to the feeling of squeezing a firm stress ball. I debated a lot between Motiva and Mentor, but I cared more about texture, so I chose Mentor, and I think that was the right decision. Still, the characteristic round shape can sometimes annoy me a little.
The reactions from people around me have mostly been that it looks natural. My mom initially told me not to go too big because it would look “like an adult actress,” and suggested I choose a smaller size—but after seeing the results, she said it didn’t look as big as she expected.
Right now, I hope the texture softens a bit more. And it’s interesting that whenever I wear the “three-piece set” and sleep, the shape looks prettier again the next day. It feels like about 80% of the concerns I had early on have disappeared. Since I suddenly have something I didn’t have before, there are still parts that feel unfamiliar, and the fit of my clothes has changed a lot. In the past, when I wore delicate styles, my upper body looked too thin—but now I choose clothes much more carefully. I’m not really the type to wear tight or revealing outfits, so I can’t say I’m fully enjoying all the benefits yet^^;
Even so, I truly feel I made the right choice. Most of all, I love that I don’t need to buy extremely padded bras anymore—and that even in a sleeveless top, I look good.
For implants, I chose Mentor over Motiva!!
